At Sherwood Forest Harmony Horses, we offer wellness coaching with our gentle mini horses, focusing on emotional wellbeing and resilience. Our programmes support children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, grief, or simply seeking more balance in their lives. We create safe, nurturing environments that allow for personal growth and connection with nature. We also provide enriching experiences for home-educated children, families, and anyone interested in learning about horse care or spending peaceful time outdoors. Our approach is inclusive and tailored to individual needs, making us a haven for those seeking calm and connection. We collaborate with schools, care homes, hospitals, and also offer our services for events and parties.

 

Horse care sessions

Learn how to look after and care for horses, grooming, horse jobs, having fun in the field or walk in the woods on the hour and cuddles included

Half an hour horse care sessions: £20

Hour session horse care: £30

 

Walks with minis

1 hour walk along the scenic river with cake & hot/ cold drink stop stop on the way;

£30 per person

£50 2 people sharing a pony

£65 family of 4 sharing 2 ponies

*Upgrade to lunch, cake and hot/cold drink for £5 each

We have 3 mini horses so groups of up to 6.

Parents free if they are just walking and not wanting to lead, can make own purchase at the cafe.

 

Wellness walks with forest therapy

1 hour walk with our mini boys and forest therapy

Client led, trauma informed session incorporating mindfulness and our wonderful horses

Hour session: £40

 

Mini horse experience

Grooming, cuddles and photos with our mini boys followed by a walk and lunch at a cafe on the lake. 2 hour duration

Events & parties

Grooming, games and walk along the river, stopping at Sherwood Forest Fishery cafe for hand wash, food, cake & drink, before heading back. 2 hour duration

Equimotional Young Equestrians Academy 6 week course, 2 hour sessions

Our complete series of workbooks is designed for children aged 7 to 16, making it perfect for any pony mad child, home schooling, alternative learning environments, or who thrive with a flexible, strengths-based approach. Each module fosters essential life skills with trauma-informed support, creating an engaging resource suitable for diverse learning needs. Plus, every workbook includes Certificates of Achievement to celebrate completion, recognising milestones and boosting confidence. £275 paid upfront or £300 in instalments.
